I ordered three of these even though I only needed two for the 'R8 Fly Cutter' I made at school. I'm glad I ordered three because the placement of the carbide on the steel was very inconsistent. I didn't measure the carbide part, but visually they were all identical. The difference was in their placement on a steel shaft. It's a far cry from interchangeable inserts, but they cost less, so that's fine. If you want two of these, either prepare to grind them to match or buy a few and choose the best match. But they cut well. My best two out of three matches got me a 2.2" router bit that cut really well on aluminum (.100 depth of cut) or mild steel (.050).
