We bought this cable after spending countless hours searching the internet for a reasonably priced device that has pretty much everything you need. The instructions for this thing are pretty simple. Here, however, they must think that we are all Hercules. The stretched cable (85 feet for us) is extraordinarily heavy. According to the instructions, everything you need is included. To be honest it would be true if you were supported by 5 adults. For me it was just my husband, myself and our reasonably useful 5 children. It says stress can be detected when installed by people holding sticks or brooms to support the weight while standing on a platform/ladder trying not to fall while lifting something. feels like a million pounds of tension on a cable. I'm loosening up with the help of two kids and my husband couldn't get it tight enough. DO YOURSELF A GREAT SERVICE; BUY A CABLE PULLER AND CABLE CLAMP TO HOLD IT IN POSITION DURING INSTALLATION. Aside from the slightly complicated setup, it's AMAZING, I highly recommend it for the price! It paid off in that my kids play it all the time! It's very secure (when installed as recommended) and now that I know what I'm doing and have the right tools, I can probably install this thing in less than 2 hours with an adult's help. MORAL OF STORY: Either have lots of friends (strong friends) or spend the extra $50 on the other two items you need to save yourself a headache! Otherwise great product very satisfied!
