Much more comfortable than a leather belt. (My buttocks aren't big so I have to dress tight to keep my pants up) I'm a 6ft 3in male and I usually wear Levi's with a 32-34 inch waist. I ordered a plus size (0-4X) and it fits great - lots of room to grow or shrink. By more I mean I can adjust those 8 inches in any direction. There are a few small details that prevented this from being 5 stars: The width is 1" while men's belts are usually 1.5" which causes the button hole area to be an odd fit on some pants. I have a beer belly so I usually wear open shirts and it's usually unnoticeable. The length adjustment buckle protrudes so it tends to snag on any belt loop and must be worked through by hand - much slower to tighten than a regular belt. Looks very odd with a shirt tucked in, but works great with home clothes. Also, don't worry about scratching the belt buckle when you crawl under it. machine it's good.
