I'm in a renovated old house and the renovated hardwood floor rests on uneven, sagging foundations. So, the bottom of the baseboards allows drafts to pass when the walls are aligned along the perimeter. Last winter, when little attention was paid to the draft situation, the stove required a very expensive replacement of parts with professional installation (although I can't say for sure that this depends solely on the draft). This cheap DIY quick fix fits in the baseboard and works like a great fix. Put down the tape, it's the new magic home remedy.
