I was looking for a smaller tape measure for garage projects. Over the past 20 years, I've learned that I rarely need the last 15 feet of a 25-foot tape measure. Most of the time I just need enough tape to get to the end of the 8ft plywood. This length is perfect. The only downside was that it wasn't possible to use a metric tape measure for that length. Because, come on, I don't want to figure out what half of 3' 7/16" is. Now half is 125cm. I can do it in my head. So if you want a standard single band, I would rate 5 stars The tape is graduated to 1/16" and marked to 1/8" - very convenient.
