I use iPad for work and hobbies. I'm interested in an Apple Pen, but not getting the $100 price tag for it. I saw this Evach touchscreen pen and decided to give it a try. I am skeptical about using non-Apple made products on Apple devices as Apple tends to keep their technology secret so users can rely on it when it comes to future support and service goes. The Evach Touch Screen Pencil has been a pleasant experience since I've had it. . The price is nice too - less than $30. I went for the gray color option. Comes with a micro USB cable for charging. Charging takes about an hour. The charging port is under a magnetic cap with a capacitive touch tip that can be used when the battery is dead. The soft touch pad on the charger cover also works with other touchscreen devices. Turn on by pressing the button next to the pocket clip. The bezel around the power button glows blue when on, red when charging, and turns off when charging is complete. I find this device to be a great addition to use with my iPad as an acceptable alternative to expensive Apple accessories. Battery life lasts all day or longer depending on usage. Like me, you probably find this device a good choice at a reasonable price.
