Review on KZ FBA_4330330199 Balanced Earphones Headphone by John Ferguson

Damn, is that a $15 IEM? It's amazing how phenomenal they sound. Firstly, I have several headphones (MDR-V700DJ, ATH-M50, HD558, HD598, DT990) but this is my first time trying IEM. My only other in-ear headphones are Nuforce NE-600x and Apple Earpods, both decent but not comfortable. I bought the KZ ATE to replace my portable ATH-M50 which broke after 5 years and everything else I had wasn't great for travel and open ended headphones weren't ideal for an office environment. Sonically, they are very clear, but can sometimes be a bit too bright. The bass is fairly powerful and tight when you match it perfectly, and it doesn't overwhelm or pollute the rest of the sound. Overall they have a very balanced sound signature and currently rival all my other headphones. I'm really impressed that they are under $20 considering the sound and even the build quality is top notch!
