Poor fuel system wiring
I thought I got a lot for the money but after my mechanic installed a new pump it didn't work. When he removed the fuel tank a second time, he found the wires were reversed and the pump motor was spinning backwards. It cost me an additional $200 and it took away my joy. Maybe I got it one in a million but it still sucks.
