Review on Smraza Female Compatible Raspberry Action by Tanya White

Great for Sony Handycam

The listing originally had a title and description error and the cable was described as M to F but the pictures were M to M and the three replies that I received including seller, was that it was M-to-F and the item description was updated shortly after. Indicates to the seller that they have updated an error in the listing which most sellers completely ignore my questions or comments. I'm using this to output from a Sony Handycam HDR CX-380 to an HDMI capture card instead of a webcam. It works better than any webcam I've used, or even a modern cellphone and Sony mirrorless camera. For some reason most streamers advertise mirrorless cameras and I think it's a conspiracy to sell expensive cameras as this cable gives great results with my 10 year old handheld camera. The CX380 has pure HDMI out of the box, although information is still displayed on the sliding screen. The HDR CX-110 also works and has the same pure HDMI out of the box but uses a different cable (mini-HDMI, not micro) than this product. I suspect other hand held cameras will work as well and I'll have to test them out as I see them available here or on ebay at affordable prices. Sites listing cameras with HDMI-only output seem to ignore sub-$100 camcorders, and like I said, there seems to be a conspiracy to sell more expensive mirrorless/DSLR or pro cinema cameras. I ordered 4 of these cables but only need two. The price was great so I could have 2 spares. Can't comment on durability as I've only been using them for a few days, but I'm also the guy who updates reviews when a product fails prematurely, although sometimes Revain doesn't update my review in a timely manner. or. One of the stats to evaluate was Transparency, and I don't know what that is, so I clicked the x to remove it. These cables are well made, they do the job, they are affordable and I am very satisfied.
