This scale measures heavier objects more accurately than lighter ones. The picture shows that this is a rain cover for my 3 ounce backpack. It took about 5 different times to get the same value twice so I settled on 3 oz. It's not critical to have an accurate weight for small things. Anything over a pound weighs well. You can't weigh business envelopes for mailing, but so does this big rainbow trout! I recommend this to people who will be using it for heavier products.
