Review on Swim-Thru Rings for Water Sports by Matt Wigfall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Overpriced and I don't think they will last long!

We bought these rings for our 7 year old granddaughter who has been diving a lot this year to wear on her visits. Underwater games seem to be hot this year. We came across this product and decided to give it a try despite the bad reviews. My granddaughter spent several hours in the pool for two days enjoying swimming through these rings. She likes them very much. Advantages: ● Rings fold up for easy storage ● Rings come in a zipped pouch that can be used for storage ● Adjustable airbags allow you to change diving depths (not tested yet) ● No pump required to inflate the airbags ● Very easy for a child to inflate chambers ● the air chambers are cute and colorful ● 30-30.5 inch diameter rings also allow adults to easily swim through Not very good: ● the rings are thin ● one of the rings is already worn out deformed after a few hours of use (see photo) ● the product is overpriced ● the fabric on one of the inflatable chambers has already torn after several hours of use (see photo) ● folding the rings is NOT an easy task! (we haven't been able to do this at the time of this review) ● Based on our experience, I don't expect longevity. It seems the lackluster reviews are correct. This item is overpriced and has shown problems for over two days after just a few hours of use which to me suggests they will not stand the test of time! We followed the folding instructions and after numerous attempts we could not fold it. My granddaughter loves them but based on my experience I will not buy them again!
