Review on 🔧 Dorman 912-079: Premium Hood Release Cable for Smooth and Reliable Operation by Adam Hardy

I put this on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It worked great. Comes with its own mounting bolts for the tow arm. Same pitch as the original screws. I tied a piece of wire to the hood latch at the end of the wire that originally broke before pulling it down and through a hole in the firewall before pulling it out. After pulling it out, I moved the wire to the end of the new cable and pulled the wire back from the engine side of the firewall. This simplified the route through the firewall and up the wing. That works great. Exact match. Excellent price. Maybe 30-45 minutes work.
