Review on Leather Men's Shoes: Sandgrens Swedish Wooden Clogs in Mules & Clogs by James Prizgint

Goodbye $200, hello paperweights!

I am a trained chef and have worn European clogs my entire professional life. After some discomfort in my feet from the traditional Danskos and Sanitas I wore, I decided to spend big and buy the 'right' shoes. I read the size chart and sizing guide and measured my feet. Then my sous chef and general manager checked my measurements. I ordered a size 47, perfect, can't wait to get a pair of $200 clogs to get rid of my foot pain and keep me walking on air. They arrived, I read the material that came with them. The materials mentioned that it would take a few days to incorporate them. I put them on and they felt great. 48 hours later I could barely keep my feet in them. They didn't cave in, they broke out. My shoes went from being comfortable, waiting to be worn out, to being completely unwearable, my feet couldn't even stay in them. When I stand still and get my feet right I dream that these clogs are the right size, the wooden soles feel great on my feet, the problem is my feet are either 3-4 inches ahead of where they should be , or are falling. from the back. I wish I had a pair that fit me, but I don't have another $200 to spend on another set of future paperweights.
