I've had 2 for 5-6 years and this one came on the 3rd. I use 1 micron, charcoal and 0.35 micron throughout my home system and my city water test is over 400ppm to about 120ppm. Bought to replace another brand whose case cover had cracked in less than 3 months. My only complaint is actually the installation advice. Apply a sufficient amount of the supplied lubricant to the O-ring, otherwise it will be very difficult to remove the housing to change the filter.
