For some reason this product is rated as (1) thickness, (2) warmth, (3) material quality. It looks like a piece of clothing. Here's what I noticed about this product: (1) There seems to be a low frame rate or responsiveness issue when used on an iPad with a mouse and HDMI display. Mouse movement is slow. However, I noticed that this is also a problem when mirroring to an older Apple TV. For people who only process text or use the iPad's touchscreen, this probably won't be a problem. (2) I found that the HDMI device needs power to work. (3) The device will become warm after a few minutes of use. I think this is common with similar products. (4) When the HDMI output is set, the display will show instructions indicating that a person can press the "Mirror" button on their iOS device and select an adapter. However, I tried this a couple of times and the device didn't show up as an option under Mirroring. Eventually the device showed up in the mirroring section, but it took a few tries and a few waits. Finally it came together. I'm sending mine back because the delay time was too long for the work I'm planning to do.
