My sons are obsessed!
I don't know about your kids, but it looks like the area has been overrun with weekly and sometimes daily Nerf Wars. I have two sets for each of my boys and literally every time a war starts they put on these vests and go out. I hope they don't grow too fast and the vests don't fit anymore. With all the wear and tear they've all put their stuff through, there was no problem with the vests. They hold up great! If your kids are into the Nerf scene, I'd say go for it. My daughter has one too, but in traditional women's colors. Also, everyone uses "War"!
