I really wanted to like REIGN. The idea of this really appealed to me. And I know how sometimes negative reviews can be completely wrong, because it's usually the angriest or annoyed people who write the reviews, not the happy people. Unfortunately, REIGN is very inconsistent with steps. how.huge. I ran 8 miles, had a Nike Run phone, an iPhone health tracker, and REIGN. Both Nike and Apple Health covered 8 miles (and I checked the distance via Google Maps). REIGN registered 6 miles. That's a lot of missed steps. When I called REIGN support, they said it might take 10 days to get used to my step. At that point it was already 8. Maybe they would have corrected it? But even after 10 days, I was still seeing a huge discrepancy between what other devices were telling me and what REIGN was telling me. I called REIGN again and found the algorithm worked just as well as a 6ft 1 in person. I am 5'6. So. This probably explains how wrong things were. I really think that heart rate thing was amazing. I don't know if it was right or not, but I liked it and it would motivate me. I would continue to use REIGN for Go-Zone only, but that didn't help. They updated the software and during the synchronization phase: my REIGN got stuck at 33%. After 10-15 minutes I finally had to turn it off. This destroyed the unit. I decided to return the device instead of replacing it. I hope they keep improving REIGN, but the current version is disappointing. Although I think I liked them more than the BASIS watch.
