Review on Deepcool Redhat CPU cooler, white/red/black by Mateusz Sztrekier ᠌

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

I took Ryzen 3600 for cooling. I don’t play games, I do photo processing, the load on the percentage is wavy during processing and more dense when exporting. The first thing I encountered was an almost dangling mount for AM4. The second is the need for a very long screwdriver to install. The third overlapped two RAM slots with radiators so that I had to move the fan a little higher, since my case allows this too. The fourth roar under load, as soon as the percentage boosts, the cooler starts to take off, and with a wave-like load it's just constant intermittent and very annoying howls. I changed the profiles of the ratio of revolutions to the load on the motherboard in the direction of lowering the revolutions, but as a result, the temperatures exceed about 70, and the noise still remains in peaks. As a result, I simply turned off the turbo boost on the processor, in this case it turned out to be the only effective method to get rid of the noise. For a while I used a computer, in principle, for a photo, the performance of the 3600th is enough and without a turbo boost, but the situation was still frustrating, does it make sense to use the process not at full power? I had an unused cooler Deepcool Gammaxx 300 Fury with 92 fans lying around at home, out of desperation I decided to just hang it up for comparison purposes and lo and behold! With the turbo boost turned on, the temperature characteristics are about the same or maybe even slightly lower than with this red hat, and there is practically no noise! Under maximum speed, you can only hear a little if there is no music playing. In general, this deepcool redhat is a complete paradox! I absolutely do not recommend.

Pros
  • Probably the price at the time of purchase (2600). Well, the packaging is still pretentious and the impressive appearance of the cooler itself, but it's really useless.
Cons
  • Yes, almost everything. It makes noise under load like a jet plane, the cooling is clearly not up to the praise. 168mm will not fit into every case (it fits into mine). Disgusting mount for AM4 and generally not a very convenient installation. Closes the first two slots with RAM (with a heatsink).
