I bought two of these to use as room dividers between the kitchen and dining/living room. I have a seedling dome in my kitchen with 12-100 watt grow lights running 18 hours a day and they are quite bright. At night when I'm watching TV in my living room the light can be really distracting. I use them to cover a six foot hole to block the light. They work very well for this purpose and look good. They're nice and thick but still soft so they stay in place when stacked on top of each other but easy to separate and pass through. They actually add a nice touch to the space, so I plan on keeping them even when I'm not growing seedlings. So it's not a common use for these curtains but for me they work great and are good value for money too. . Based on how bright the lights are and how well they block light, I suspect they will work very well for their intended purpose.
