I have used the collar several times a day since I got it on 27.1. (less than 2 months ago) to potty and walk my 30kg 6 month old puppy. It's a puppy so there are some pulls but she's not that heavy or strong and we don't let her pull too hard so she doesn't hurt her windpipe. The wire connections on either side of this collar are NOT soldered. One came loose and the collar almost came loose before I knew it. I looked at some other martingale collars at the pet store and they all have solid dried links. The ones on this collar were obviously never fastened. I was able to close the gap with pliers but I can't feel safe with this collar anymore. It's a shame because the collar was otherwise very nice and of good quality.
