Not what I expected for a number of reasons. 1. The images show various LED circuits that the mat is capable of. There is no alternating ring around the edges, it's always one color at a time. Only one setting for slow breathing, everything else is either solid color or fast blinking. I don't know who would want that blink, I have a feeling it might trigger a fit. 2. Too many dark spots that barely glow, some parts don't look like they have any color. I suppose this might look reasonably acceptable in a very dark room, but even with a small table lamp and all those colored LEDs on this rug it washes out. I would definitely not buy again
