This bag does not have a full zip top closure. There is a gap at both ends of the main zipper. I bought this bag mainly because I wanted to stop putting a plastic bag on top of my laptop when I had to carry it around on rainy days. When it rains, this bag will get wet from the inside, so the plastic bag will still be one of my laptop accessories. Pros: The bag has average strength and durability. I like the shape, the adjustable handles and the strap. My laptop, phone, pens, flashlight and other small things fit in well. Cons: The top of the bag doesn't close completely even if you zip the entire way - there are gaps at the ends of the zip. Actually I don't keep my stuff in a bag yet and carry it everywhere because the bag arrived with a fishy smell. (To get rid of the smell I sprayed it with Febreze, aired it out on the porch and kept scented candles in it.
