Review on πŸ”Œ SnapPower GuideLight 2 for Outlets - 2 Pack, Upgraded LED Light Bar, Night Light, Electrical Outlet Wall Plate with LED Night Lights, Auto On/Off Sensor, Duplex, White by Robert Staten

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good, best on wall panels and accessories

- We bought 2 packs and I installed them both - The packaging was not impressive. They came in a clear zip bag with a barcode and a "Made in China" sticker. An instruction manual was included, but it has no brand name other than the manufacturer's name and address in China. There are no brand names or markings on the product itself. I couldn't verify that they were actually made by SnapPower. Seller was Rocky Mountain through Revain Prime. - Installation is easy, but I had to pull out the bushings to tighten the terminal screws (I guess my home electrician was too lazy). The contacts on the wall plate contact the bottom two terminal screws on my outlets. They work, but I expected them to work with "less darkness". It has to be completely dark for them to turn on. If you cover the light sensor with your finger, they will not activate (the finger should be too transparent). But covering the sensor with a dark object activates them. At night they turn on and adequately illuminate the area. The light color is slightly bluish. See photos. Home Depot sells a nearly identical Night Angel-branded product for less than $10 each. My purchase of Revain cost over $15 each. I have some of the HDs and they work just as well. In the future I would buy Night Angel as they are cheaper, seem to be of the same quality and come in genuine packaging with a US name and address. Night Angel's packaging says "patent pending" and they're also made in China.
