Review on 💻 Monoprice IDE to Compact Flash CF Adapter with PCI Bracket [A2] by Matt White

I bought this adapter to use in a project to replace a failed hard drive in an old Tandy computer with a CompactFlash card. Booting from a CF card works great with this adapter. I haven't tried this on a newer computer, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work if you have an IDE controller. I had to power the adapter from the floppy power connector, but that wasn't a problem on my build (make sure your power supply has one of these connectors, or use an adapter cable).
