In general, the camera made a very good impression. Whatever it is, but the most important thing is that the quality of both photos and videos is at a high level. An analogue of a medium-level cropped DSLR with a weight and volume 3-4 times less. Has some pros We are talking about the next generation model - PowerShot G5X - Mark-2 wifi. I always wanted to bring high-quality photos from cycling trips. But for this, until recently, I had to drag a full-matrix DSLR with me. This camera, oddly enough, completely replaces it when photographing landscapes and simple scenes. With its weight and compactness, it is a great option for advanced travel photography enthusiasts. An extremely convenient option to control the camera from a smartphone and copy photos directly to a smartphone via WiFi. Together with a quick connection via USB-C, this allows you to almost never take a flash card out of the camera and do without a card reader. If there is a power supply via USB with the appropriate cable, then it is possible not to take the camera out of the case at all, downloading photos and charging from the connector covered with a dense rubber plug. The ability to share photos on the go using Wi-Fi and smartphones is simply priceless. A large number of shooting modes - not out of place. Panoramic of course, but others were also in demand. The optics are on the level, although nothing else was expected from Canon. Very good for a free and analogue of Lightroom, which allows you to process RAW camera files. Its cons: The camera is not waterproof. The set does not include a suitable dust and moisture protective cover. It is not available in the corporate version either. Finding one is a bit of a problem. The batteries are enough, of course, not for 200-250 frames, rather, closer to 400 (without shooting with flash), but still it differs sharply from the usual DSLR. At the same time, a branded spare battery is very expensive. You can, of course, use a proprietary device for power from USB and, accordingly, from a powerbank, but the price of such, along with a proprietary cable, bites a lot. Involuntarily, we have to look for solutions from third-party manufacturers. The video recording button is not very convenient. It is unnecessarily, in my opinion, recessed into the case and it is inconvenient to press it. Because of this, it happens that the ending of the video fragment is blurred.
