My hair is very fine and in the winter when it's static I go crazy. I end up doing them in a ponytail most of the time because I can't stand being static. Aveda used to make a great product that removed static electricity, but they don't make it anymore and none of the other products I've tried have worked either. I didn't really think a hair dryer could make a difference and I've only used it a few times since I've had it (and I use it with a diffuser so I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not ), but it REALLY doesn't leave static electricity in my hair. Note that it doesn't take all the frizz out of my hair (it looks fine at first but gets a bit frizzy as the day goes on) but I bought it for the anti-static and I'm very happy with it. aspect of it.
