Review on Dritz Home 44340 Cord Cleat, 3-Inch, Transparent by Barbara Simmons

Ordered these and they were initially pretty easy to cut. Then I spliced the two pieces together and that was it it, it looked ok. They are big and really pop out next to the originals. Then after a few uses. Oops they literally fell apart! I twisted them back together making sure to hand tighten them. And what happens, them come apart again? After that 4 or 5 times I decided to put some "superglue" on the threads and twist the part again. I let it sit for a few hours then tried again. Wow. TWO OTHERS HAVE THE SAME THING DONE.. They just don't work.
