I just love these shelves! First, they are double, shelf and towel holders. Just what I needed for my tiny (full gut) bathroom. I already bought all my hardware (another brand) in Satin Nickel. It's a pity that I didn't discover this Delta line in the first place. But now I realize I could use some shelves. I've been looking for a long time and came across this one! That's exactly what I wanted! Matches perfectly the style of my 1924 home and has been remodeled (white subway tile, hexagonal tile floor). Classic look and I don't think it will ever go out of style. But satin nickel didn't work, so I asked the community if the shine of stainless steel was close to satin nickel. All the answers I got didn't really help. Some said it was "really glossy", "not a matte finish at all". But on my computer they almost looked like satin nickel so I took a chance and bought 2 of them. Matches perfectly with all my other satin nickel hardware! They are well made, beautiful and durable, lightweight. I just installed them. Comes with a handy dandy template! After reading a few reviews I ignored the instructions and opted for a 1/4" drill bit. Attaches to tile and drywall, no rivets. Very strong, they don't go anywhere. I also suggested using masking tape, to keep the beat from dancing. But it still made the polka, everywhere! So I found a weird screw and drove it a little bit into the tile to make a little gap. They were drilled. Went like clockwork! Me installed one on top of my closet where I put decorative jars filled with items on the shelf and towels on the bar, "dual use".The second I put in the bath/shower, for all my shampoos, conditioner, shaving cream etc Really takes a beating! I hang my rag on the stand. As some other reviews say, "You almost don't want to use them and they get all dirty and dirty." They're just too pretty! My bathroom remodel (took twice as long) Also, fantastic price and lightning fast shipping!
