Review on Mars 8577 ZEBRA SHORT FINDER by Dennis Chase

Got Short Pro without Mars and so far it's working pretty much the same. The original Mars/Zebra version (now called the Short Finder and not available in Revain) has a red LED, while the Global Revain version has a blue LED. The Mars version comes with alligator clips and quick disconnects, while the Global version has alligator clips only. The packaging is also different. Both use solid state current limiting for 24VAC short circuit protection and both reset when the circuit is opened. The global block says it allows 2.2 amps before the current limit. Therefore, a system transformer greater than 50VA may not work with this series connected troubleshooter.
