Rain or shine: YOANGRY Kids raincoat put to the test

The YOANGRY Kids Raincoat, YKR for short, is a colorful and cheerful rain jacket that promises to keep little ones dry on the rainiest of days. As a mom to a toddler who loves to play outside, I was dying to experience it myself. First, the YKR is made from a lightweight, waterproof material that feels tough enough to withstand rough play. The bright yellow color is perfect for babysitting in a crowded park, while the roomy hood keeps the rain out. However, the YKR had a few flaws that prevented me from giving it a higher rating. First, the sizing is a bit drab - my daughter is small for her age, but even the smallest YKR size turned out to be too big for her. Second, the lack of zippers or buttons on the front of the jacket made it difficult for her to take it off herself, leading to several tantrums. Overall I'd say the YKR is a decent raincoat for kids, but it's not without its flaws. If you're looking for a colorful and fun raincoat that's easy to spot in a crowd, and you don't mind helping your child undress, then you might want to try the YOANGRY kids raincoat.

Pros
  • Thin and light material, long enough to cover head to toe from rain. I love the design and the sweatshirt! 100% recommended.
Cons
  • The product is only available in yellow, which all children may or may not like. This can make it difficult for parents to convince their children to wear a raincoat when they need one.
