Review on Metra 44-US13: Top Performing Side Mount Replacement Antenna for AM/FM Bands by Jonathan Clark

Extremely disappointed with the poor quality and finish of this antenna. The main stem wobbles and rattles and won't tighten. The shank is pushed onto the screw and just keeps turning due to the poor design. The plastic base is slotted and can in no way be considered airtight or watertight and there is no way to securely tighten it. I didn't even bother to install it. It doesn't live up to my expectations for an acceptable replacement. I wanted this as a replacement antenna for a 10 year old camper but the rusted camper roof top antenna is better made than this replacement.
