Let me start by saying that these pants are very good, light and comfortable shorts. I am an international buyer and returns are very difficult so I rely on reviews from other buyers. With that in mind, I advise you to follow the sizing recommendations in other reviews and order a size up. I normally wear size XL but took the advice and ordered XXL and I wasn't disappointed. I have big hips and they fit well, there is even a drawstring to adjust the waist. Pockets are adequate and fit an average phone. I will buy again with a different pattern.
