This year we got tickets to the water park for the first time. In the Texas heat and scorching sun, wearing shoes is optional at the water park. I've tried different brands, from the local sporting goods store to the more attractive online brands, and none of them have worked for me. At the end of the day (and often earlier) they became very uncomfortable and frankly painful. I finally gave in and ordered these Merrells and I wasn't disappointed! The insoles stay in place (a big issue with some other brands), the outsole grip is pretty good, there's some arch support, and they feel good both in the water and on the street. I will definitely use them for many summer seasons.
