I connect my PC and TV directly to the router to get the best speed and most routers only have 10/ 100 LAN ports. I bought 2 different routers and had to return them due to slow network ports. However, this one came with 10/100/1000 LAN ports, which is much, much faster. Most people don't know about this, so I decided to help someone out. If you have internet faster than 100Mbps, you need this router to work at speeds higher than 100Mbps. Also, when connecting via Wi-Fi, use the 5GHz band as it is much faster than the 2.4GHz band. You will see both options in your Wi-Fi list, but choose the 5.0GHz option. You can also connect the printer to a USB port behind a router and print from any computer/laptop in your home after setup. Very convenient as we have multiple laptops/computers at home and now we can print from anywhere without having to buy an expensive Wi-Fi printer. We just hooked up a basic, inexpensive printer to this router, installed the software, and are now able to print from anywhere. The instructions that came with the printer were clear and easy to follow. Let's see how long this router lasts, if we find any issues I'll update this review, if not think it's still working fine.
