Review on Dorman 746 148 Door Lock Actuator by Cedrick Ayudara
Fits great, works as it should
The lock actuator on my 2004 Ford Ranger has expired. Although I'm an OEM, when I saw the astronomical price difference I decided to try the Dorman unit. The fit is perfect, all cables and connectors are fine. It works, but the original doesn't. One star deduction because the drive lever and pin are made of plastic and not steel. I'm amazed at the longevity after a few years worth of 110 degree days. So you have to ask for an extra dollar, it was worth it!
