Review on ๐Ÿงน Unleash the Cleaning Power with Hoover Performance Cordless Lightweight BH53350E Vacuum by Fred Griffin

Very versatile and powerful vacuum cleaner. . . .

I've always wondered why anyone would spend hundreds of dollars on handle vacuums, including Dysons. Those I know personally with Dyson vacuums usually only use them to vacuum up dog hair. However, after using this vacuum for a few weeks, I see that some handle vacuums are actually more of a combination of a handle vacuum and a canister vacuum. When I first used a vacuum, I vacuumed a long hallway, stairs, and a large hallway carpet on a single charge. Keep in mind that this vacuum cleaner isn't really designed for cleaning long hallways with carpeted floors and the like, but it still does the job perfectly. Not as good as a canister or upright, but if you're in a hurry to vacuum something, this vacuum can do it without the cord dragging behind you and slowing you down. Also, the suction power of a vacuum cleaner in carpet mode is pretty impressive. If you have old carpeting, it can actually pull the carpet down in places and leave wrinkles. Thankfully no permanent wrinkles, but it shows how powerful it is as a stick vacuum. On the stairs I tried the carpet attachment, the motorized pet attachment and the upholstery attachment. The carpet mount performed best and the pet mount the worst. With pet attachments, it's always hit and miss. Some work great and some don't. I don't like the one with that vacuum cleaner. The carpet nozzle is not as big as a cylinder vacuum cleaner, but still gets the job done. It spins more than I'd like, but again, it's only noticeable when vacuuming large rugs, not what this vacuum is designed for. Works great on large carpets. For smaller ones you have to use the ECO button because when you set the CARPET it will start vacuuming the carpet. The carpet roll is also easy to remove, allowing you to trim long hair. The floor nozzle is unlike any I've ever used. The roller is made of microfiber, which perfectly absorbs dust and dirt. There is also a dust nozzle and a crevice nozzle. All of the attachments can also be attached to the Hoover handpiece in place of a wand, making it a very versatile handheld vacuum. The only problem with the all-purpose handheld vacuum is that it weighs nearly five pounds without the extras. For some people with weakened arm strength, this can definitely be a problem. The same goes for the duster attachment at the end of the wand - it takes some hand strength to reach the corners of the quilt to get rid of any cobwebs or dust. In addition to all the attachments supplied, there are also two Li-Ion batteries with a maximum capacity of 4.0 Ah. (You only need one to run the vacuum.) This is great for those who want to vacuum longer than regular vacuums typically last. Also, you can't start charging the battery immediately when you take it out of the vacuum cleaner. The included charger will sense it's too hot and won't charge until it's cooled down. Good safety function to avoid battery explosion. (The current price on the Hoover website for a replacement 4.0Ah max Li-Ion battery is $100. A replacement battery charger is $30.) All of the attachments attach relatively easily and off, as does the dust cap, although the dust cap can be confusing at first. However, it is easy to empty and there is a washable filter. It holds a lot more than any stick vacuum I've ever used, but if you have long-haired large dogs it will likely fill up quickly. Something else? There are green lights on the front of the vacuum cleaner that indicate the remaining power and flash red just before the battery runs out. Personally, I find that the on/off, CARPET, ECO buttons are not optimally placed, as I accidentally bumped into one or the other while cleaning. But I don't mind much. This Hoover ONEPWR is really versatile and ideal when you want and need to vacuum and vacuum quickly but don't want to lug around a vertical stand or canister. Psychologically, the idea of using a cordless handheld vacuum can increase the likelihood that someone will take on the much-needed cleaning, rather than keep putting it off. The included batteries will also work with other Hoover ONEPWR home vacuums, floor cleaners, wet/dry vacuums, blowers, etc. So if you like this handheld vacuum, you might want to check out these items too.
