I sold this one, I bought 50 / 1,4G I was waiting for a miracle, but my former whale turned out to be faster, more accurate and quieter than the new one, more expensive! Each of these two has its own merits, but the 18-105vr is a hassle-free, really cool lens, and it's also inexpensive. I regret selling it. Pros below: Very fast and accurate! Very quiet, very sharp lens! The build quality and materials are excellent! The stabilizer knows his stuff. PRICE! Universal in focal length! Cons: A bit dark, but with 3,5-5,6 lenses the majority! Especially for such money. In short, there are no shortcomings for such money!
