DO NOT install in Retina MacBook Pro! It's too thick and you risk damaging the LCD. Although everything worked perfectly on my Lenovo ThinkPad and iMac. The problem with the MacBook Pro is that it puts stress on the LCD when it's closed, and even the slightest pressure will destroy the LCD. I just found the hard way and replacing the LCD in a mid 2015 15 inch MacBook Pro Retina costs about $600.
