A good set for its price

I give 10 stars for the thought put into the design. It's well thought out. It is complete and how the sensors and actuators work together. A window sensor that detects rain and a door that responds to a password are good examples of putting things together in a well-planned system. I also give 5 stars for the step-by-step guide and not for introducing the big block of C code. Customer service is very responsive and available within 1 day (US-China time difference). Once you get the hang of it, you have endless possibilities for construction projects. Why I give 4 stars: 1. The chipset must be compatible with Raspberry PI/Linux. CP2102 is distributed with Linux/Raspberry PI to my knowledge, but I'm not sure why the instructions don't mention it. Support doesn't know about it either. Connecting this as a Pi slave will unlock more options.2. Please open the source code of the application. It keeps crashing and the bluetooth connection is not stable. The messages are in Chinese and do not help debugging.3. The revolving door does not fit well and gets stuck when opening/closing the door. It clearly doesn't integrate with the mobile app. Window operation needs more detailed instructions. If you don't understand the C code, you can easily get into a situation where the window motor keeps rotating and there is no room to open.4. Nibble: Slot 18 - what is it for? Was it intended for a pot with a soil sensor? It annoys me that there is a hole with no purpose :-)
