It works quite well and is a good practice balisong/butterfly knife. However, if you're trying to close a knife with the comb blade hidden in the handle, it's a bit difficult to get the latch to close them together. This bolt also flies all over the place making openings and tricks. Sometimes this can be annoying as the bolt can get caught between the handles or other places which can interfere with your trick. I guess it's not really intended as a great workout balisong and more as a fun hairbrush. So if you just want a comb that you can cool open then this is a decent option.
