I bought 8 of them in 2010 for my new finished basement and installed them myself. Installation is very simple and the speakers are easy to connect as they come with spring terminals. Here's the problem: these are voice-class speakers at best. There's nothing wrong with them in and of themselves, they just aren't good for the music. The sound is very flat, with little bass and treble. Poor sound quality results when playing music from the receiver. A few years later I decided to upgrade and bought Pyle PDIC51RD two-way speakers which actually cost about the same - as of 10/2014 they were $24 a pair. The two way speakers are a bit smaller but fit in the same mounting hole and sound significantly better and I'm selling the PDICS6 on eBay. Much better. I wouldn't recommend the PDICS6 unless you're just looking for a voice class speaker.
