Sulfate means sulfur
I bought this to use as a supplement for my palms. Especially my cycad palms. Their leaves turn brown when they get too much water or too little nutrients, namely manganese. A manganese deficiency will definitely turn them brown. So I use manganese. However, while they tolerate sulfur due to their waxy leaves, my other palms will burn. So now I use the chelated version of manganese. Chelate simply uses the organic matter to bond with the manganese, making it easily absorbed without causing any problems to the plant.
