My daughter requested a long dress for our 2 Christmas events and a size 6 fitted her perfectly. She is a very petite girl - about 40 pounds and 47 inches tall. This length prevents her from tripping over the dress but doesn't look too short either. I would probably call it ankle length. There is a small latch at the top of the back to help with proper fit. It's a cheap plastic clasp, but as this is a special occasion dress I'm not worried about its durability. Pink - a gentle blush, muted pink. It's a bit clean, but nothing special. The lace on top is soft and won't scratch your skin.
