The dress is worth the purchase for the price alone! Perfect on its own or with a light jacket from morning errands to a late night date on the town.This copycat version is of a very classic and elegant dress, made one season only because it was too expensive to produce the voluminous fine French linen.I got just as many compliments on this one.You could never purchase the fabric for the price of the total dress - = to tax of the expensive one!This is made of heavier, more cotton-than-linen fabric with a subtle, patterned imprint. It also shows wrinkles, as it would in a cotton fabric, not the way pure linen does.I have not washed it yet.
