I used a Yamaha Rx-A880 to power Zone 2 for listening to music in the kitchen. Sounds boring. I thought there was something wrong with the receiver's Zone 2, so I hooked it up to an old Denon 3805 receiver. Even with the graphic EQ on, the BSR-3000 sounds awful. It sounds worse than the Logitech Z130 computer speaker. Little did I know this speaker came out over 10 years ago when I bought it. Don't buy this for ATMOS. The discharge is weak, you have to stand directly under the speaker. In no way does it come close to the 45 degrees recommended by Dolby.
