It's great! I really don't know what I was expecting as my 4 year old only got into BMX about a year ago when he learned to ride his bike without training wheels. We haven't bought a ton of gear yet, but enough to give you an idea. It's usually very expensive so I took a chance buying these pants (they were around $70 in a clothing store) and they are the same quality as other items we have. They're durable, heavyweight, have vents for breathability, and are easy to slip on. He loved her as soon as he opened the packaging. He is approximately 43 inches tall with a muscular, stocky build. Reminds me of a shorter version of the Hulk. They're only a little long and big around the waist, but that gives him room to grow. If we took small ones, they would be on the verge of becoming too small and could not be used for a long time. The middle ones were perfect. His only complaint was that he didn't like that the mesh was a bit looser than his other pants so his toes got a little tangled when putting them on, but that wasn't a big problem. He's got the hang of it, but he hasn't quite figured out how to fully undo a fastener yet, but he's almost done. Definitely not a deal breaker.
