Wait for one of the two lights to go out to indicate it's preheated, add ingredients and cook. Disable to turn off. I like that the panels are removable. Once you set the time, you can make amazing grilled waffles and sandwiches. Cleaning is easy and storage is easy. However, at the current price of almost forty-two dollars, this is an inflated price. But a good block, perfect for small homes, dorms or RVs.
