Friendly and pleasant customer service that strives to please its customers. I bought these very nice running boards for my CJ3A. The center bracket attaches to existing holes in the frame. The front bracket fits into existing holes in the floor. The step has staggered holes so it can be angled to fit the contour of your jeep. The only fixed brace is the rear brace. It either sits on top of the hat channel and makes the step slightly uneven, or you can modify the brace by folding the pre-drilled area back so it can be installed behind the hat channel and lined up. These are the only holes you will drill in your jeep. Each side will need 4 wing washers, 4 flat washers, 4 lock washers, and 4 5/16x3/4 nuts and bolts unless going through the hat channel, in which case they should be 2 inches long. They come with fasteners that can be attached to each other but not to your jeep. The crotch looks good and feels very solid. The step sticks out a few inches, but not as much as a spare tire or jerry can. Essential for old Willys Flat Fender Jeeps.
