Got this to replace a replacement charger I got about a year ago. This first replacement from S SKStyle had a great price of $9.99. But you get what you paid for. In this case, it was an annoyingly short cord, and the real problem was that the transformer part of the cord was so hot it couldn't be touched. It ended up in the trash where it had been since day one. Let's get to THIS charger. This charger has the same length cable as the OEM cable, or maybe a little longer (why did I replace it? The laptop connector failed). But the most important thing is that it practically does not heat up. The transformer part of the cable feels cool even after 6-8 hours of use. As long as it stays that way I'm very happy with the cable and I'm sorry I spent ten bucks on the first one instead of gritting my teeth a bit. It's still a lot cheaper than the original HP cable which they charge over $40 for. Talk about introducing it to your client. That doesn't work with HP.
