I have a Lexar Professional Reader but was planning to buy a Kingston to put in my travel bag. The reader arrived today and I took some pictures on the CF card. Plug the card into the reader and plug the reader into my USB 3.0 ports and the reader flashed for about a minute before Windows gave me error 0X80070057. It was a newly built computer so my first thought was that it might be something from the PC. I took the same card and popped it into my Lexar Professional, which I use almost every day, and the files transferred to HD quickly with no hiccups. I put the same card back into Kingston to try again. This time Windows displayed a message stating that it would attempt to repair the drive. I said yes. Windows came back with a message that it couldn't be restored, but this time the files were moved to the hard drive. holds. I'll deduct another star if I have further problems.
